October bits and bobs

On Sunday I lingered in bed thinking about weather going out to grab a coffee and a pastry at the local café. Then I remembered that the night before, late-scrolling my feed, I saved @evasfoodaddiction’s recipe for a marbled banana bread. I quickly checked if I had all the ingredients, and started baking. And so it happened, an impromptu photoshoot for an impromptu cake.

A weekend away in the countryside to celebrate @milan.zum getting old

Reflecting on the power of nature and the fact that in the past years I’ve lived in places where the presence of waters sources is quite prominent. I find myself drown to these watery bits to unwind and find quietness. Simply walking along the canals in London, observing the old building reflecting on the watery surfaces in Venice or embracing the ocean close to Brisbane, are small pleasures that truly can change my mindset for the day.

Digging through some sun soaked images of Cala Figuera in Mallorca. I was lucky enough to go on an early holiday last May and it was fantastic to beat the crowds of the Summer months. It felt great to be able to discover this paradise in such quite a moment of the year.

This makes me think about how to be a more conscious traveler, especially after living in Venice and seeing images and hearing about the news of over tourism in Greece and Spain. How can we travel better and in a more sustainable way? How do you do it?

Capturing renowned chefs and artists and their innovative creations, alongside adventuring on mountain peaks or canyoning in serene lakes, is a dream come true for me. I have a deep passion for framing moments and memories, and I count myself lucky every day as I get to share my unique perspective of the world.
