Find Your Muse at Cupo

CreativeMornings is a monthly breakfast lecture series for the creative community. It started in 2008 by Tina Roth Eisenberg out of a desire for an ongoing, accessible event for New York’s creative community. The concept was simple: breakfast and a short talk one Friday morning a month. Every event would be free of charge and open to anyone. Today CreativeMornings is held in more than 207 in cities around the world. Attendees gather each month to enjoy fresh coffee, friendly people, and an international array of breakfast foods.

In September Tamara Scheiwe was the speaker at CreativeMorning Brisbane. She is a brand nerd and creative entrepreneur under the name of September Creative and the recently launched Young Villains agency. Tamara is also known for her personal projects such as The Plant Market and Chai or Die, side hustles that soon became popular among the local community.

Listening to Tamara's talk on the monthly theme of Muse was so inspiring and made me realise that I should pursue all my projects, even if just for fun. Not all ideas need to be big ideas that end up being presented to the world, sometimes you just need to create something you like even if only for yourself. It is so satisfying to work on something you love and not knowing where a project will lead you, shouldn't stop you from trying.
