A urban resort in the heart of James St.
The Calile Hotel was designed by local architects Richard & Spence with the intention to "deliver a resort experience in an urban setting". The architecture was inspired by natural elements and celebrates the Queensland surroundings. The sub-tropical modern design presents curved shapes in the exterior archways as well as throughout the interior within window frames and furniture.
I've been wanting to explore this pastel beauty in James Street since I saw it for the first time months ago. Last weekend I finally had the chance to visit the Calile Hotel as I had the pleasure to work with Kate Dawes Flower Design capturing her flower arrangements for Nastassia and Nedan's wedding. The beautiful reception was perfectly designed using shades of peach with white and soft blush tones.
